ROBERT BRUSTEIN is a playwright, critic, director, actor and Professor of English at Harvard University.  He is a past Dean of the Yale Drama School and founding director of the Yale Repertory Theatre and the American Repertory Theatre. Mr. Brustein is the author of 15 books on theatre and society. His latest book, Shakespeare’s Prejudices, will be published in 2008. He is also the author of five plays and has written the books for two musicals, Shlemiel The First and Lysistrata. Mr. Brustein has been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and was recently inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame.
